Guillermo Estrada Adán

Guillermo Estrada hold a Master in International Human Rights Law at the University of Alcalá, and a Ph.D. in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Insubria and at the State University of Milan. He did a research stay at the Institute Max Planck of Constitutional Law and Public International Law in Heidelberg Germany. Since 2005 he is a UNAM full-time professor, in the area of International Law, at the UNAM Law School. He is Professor at El Colegio de México, at the Center for International Studies, in the subjects of Constitutional Law and Public International Law. Dr. Estrada was a visiting professor on the Inter-American Human Rights System at the University of Insubria, in Como, Italy. He has also participated in conferences at the State University of Milan, at the University of Piura, Peru, and at several universities in Mexico as well as the National and Commissions on Human Rights (CNDH). He is currently a professor technical advisor, in the area of international law, in the Faculty of Law, UNAM; and member of the Council of University Transparency, in the UNAM. He has published several articles in collective works, in the press there are the books Manual of international law of human rights and Reflections on the teaching of law and international law, in which he serves as coordinator and author of several chapters. He is currently the Academic Secretary of the Coordination of Humanities of the UNAM.
