Roberto Zepeda Martínez

Roberto Zepeda has a Ph.D. in political and social sciences with a specialization in international relations, a master’s in North American Studies, and a bachelor’s in communications sciences. He is currently a full time researcher at CISAN. He has published and edited numerous books in publishing houses in Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom, as well as some articles in national and international academic journals. Dr. Zepeda has been an associate professor at the University of Sheffield Department of Politics, as well as at its Department of Hispanic Studies. He has also been a professor in international relations at different universities in Mexico. He did a post-doctoral stay at the UNAM Institute of Social Research. Dr. Zepeda's lines of research focus on the study of sub-national government relations in North America, with an interdisciplinary approach. He is a member of the Mexican Association of International Studies (AMEI), the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), and the Society for Latin American Studies (SLAS). He has also belonged to the National System of Researchers (SNI), Level 1, since January 2014.
